a colourful event
Booking the choir
The choir usually performs 3 set concerts each year in venues such as theatres, halls and churches. Our concerts can be fund raisers for a cause, both local or further afield. Our last Christmas concert at Barn Hill, Stamford raised £250 for the church's African charities. We have over 80 members in the choir, about 60 of whom perform in our concerts producing an amazingly full, rich sound. For smaller events the choir size can be reduced.
The choir performs unaccompanied and sings in more than 15 languages. Each performance provides the audience with a world tour of both traditional and contemporary songs. The choir sing for fun and this is very evident in each performance.

In the past Woven Chords has performed at the Oundle Music Festival and the Stamford Riverside Festival as well as providing entertainment for organisations such as the Stamford Twinning Association. Specific charities and events such as weddings have also been supported by Woven Chords and themed songs tailored to fit such events.
